Lotus Notes?

Does PS2003 and/or PS2007 interface easily with LotusNotes as it does with
Outlook?

TIA

Mark --

I believe that both products can send e-mail messages to either Outlook or
to Lotus Notes. I do not believe that users can use the Outlook Add-In to
work with their PWA tasks in Lotus Notes, however. Hope this helps.

Thanks, Dale for the timely response, as always.

Good to meet you at the MS Project Conference. Your PS2007 books were
waiting for me when I got back.

Thanks again.

Dear Mark,

We are using PS2003 which interface with our lotus notes with no problem at
all. Among the options under Admin you will find "Notifications and
Reminders". There we placed the ip address of our lotus notes SMTP server
among other details.

Hoped this helps.

Leo, we have some teams on Exchange and some on Notes with cross company
teams. It appears there is only a place for one server ip address at this
dialog. Would we have to just replace our company SMTP with the sister
company's SMTP to get everyone to receive notices?

Steve,

I don't know if this will work. I know emails can be sent from Notes to
Exchange and vice versa. Since there is only 1 server ip address at this
dialog, you should configure the primary server (say it is the Notes SMTP) to
relay the notices meant for the Exchange SMTP to the Exchange SMTP.

Let me know if you have any question.
