Lotus WordPro to Word

R

Rick

Hi. I have a large number of Lotus WordPro files that I need access to.
However, I only have Word 2007 and OpenOffice. Any idea how I open Lotus
WordPro files with Word 2007?

Thanks.

Yes!!!!!! Do you know how long it`s taken to get an answer?!

Had you searched Google for "wordpro converter for Word" you could have had
the answer instantly! The links to my web site and the MVPS web site both
containing the answer are in the first five results!

Thanks, Graham.

The MVP site is what put me onto the answer (found it in the top 3
results when I used Ask.com). I replied to one of it's threads that reported
a broken link for finding the app that I downloaded.

Just a thought, here. I read on your site "Note, this file is not
compatible with Lotus WordPro. I know of no Word filter for WordPro." The
link to the software that I can buy is good, but a guy like me stuck at a
dead end truly appreciates the app that I found. Since I am now ok that
there is no converter, as long as I can copy and paste text into a Word doc,
perhaps you could update that statement so that it doesn't sound so hopeless.

Thanks.

Hi, Graham.

After reading my reply it sounded like there was an edge on it. I
didn't mean it to sound edgy. Thanks for the reply.

The information on my web site relating to the AmiPro filter is correct -
there is no Word filter for WordPro. However the *next sentence* points to a
third party conversion product and the link you located related to the MVPS
web site, both links work and the whole sentence is in bold face type, so
how is this 'hopeless'?
