Low to medium macros securityin word

I use Rational SoDa as a program. SoDa has in it a temptplate
document that will automatically install the marcos for authoring, and
general insertions of lines and such. It uses the macros in Word.

I am not sure if I am posting this in the correct place....but I though I
would give it a try...If I am in the wrong discussion group and you can
direct me please do.

My problem is that I am trying to set my macros from low to medium and when
I do so Word stalls....for a while....then just freezes up the entire
computer. What am I doing wrong....and how do I fix it...normally when you
run the program macros default at medium and switch to low sometime during my
changes of the template I am doing in word.

I have been to the IBM site for help....I just think I was looking in the
wrong place.

Please advise.

Any software add-in that attempts to change the macro security is very
dangerous indeed. However, I would suggest that you set macro security to
trust installed templates and add-ins which may alleviate the immediate
