LPDA Directory Unavailable (52)

When trying to e-mail a word document I click on "To" and have just started
to see the error message "LPDA Directory unavailable (52) instead of opening
my Outlook Express Address Book. . I can't find any mention of this message
in the Knowledge Base.
What is this and how do I fix it?

First, it helps if you spell the acronym in the right order -- it's
LDAP (for Lightweight Directory Access Protocol). Second, the problem
is in Outlook, not in Word, which is only a "client" of Outlook in
this process.

Look at this post in the newsgroup microsoft.public.outlook.general:

Your best bet is to post your question there, either as a new post or
as a reply to Brian Tillman's post (and be sure to mention what
version of Outlook you have!).
