Lycos html messages in outlook

I'm running XP Pro and Office 2003. I read my emails from a variety of
accounts through Outlook. My Lycos account downloads all the mails, but those
sent HTML only have the header; the body of the mail is missing. If I log
onto my Lycos mail account on the web, the full message is available.

I assume I've got an incorrect setting somewhere, but I'm blowed if I can
find it. Any clues?

it sounds more like there is a problem with how the messages are composed
and outlook can't understand them. Do they display if you hit forward? Is
the message size correct but it's just not displaying?

Diane,

I've just checked and if I forward it, the message displays correctly.

Regards and thanks

That means the message is munged and outlook doesn't know quite how to
reconstruct it. Make you have the latest updates.. otherwise, I don't think
there is afix for it.

Thanks Diane.

I'm absolutely up to date, but at least I can now read the mail by
pretending to forward it.
