I've been using Word with EPS graphics for many years, mostly from
Illustrator.
Now, with the combination of Word 2004 and Illustrator CS, I find that the
on-screen preview is a negative (whether I use TIFF or Mac/PICT previews),
but it prints okay.
Other EPS files, such as those saved out of Acrobat, are okay, as are older
pre-CS Illustrator. This would indicate a problem with Illustrator, except
that I'm pretty sure I've used these in Word v.X and didn't have the problem.
(I've been using 2004 for only a week now.)
Someday I may get around to loading up CS in Windows, bring some EPS over to
Mac, and test it, but I rarely use Windows.
So, if someone has the combination of Word v.X (or older) and Illustrator CS,
would you test it and let me know if older Word shows Illustrator CS previews
properly? Thanks.
