I am using PPT 2004 on an E-mac that is running System 10.3.8. In the
last month I have had two different Powerpoint presentations that would
not run on three different Windows laptops that were using PPT 2003. I
used both a CD and a flashdrive to transfer the files and got the same
error message that there was a file missing. I tried saving one of the
presentatons as a PowerPoint Show and sent it as an e-mail attachment
to a friend with a Windows Machine. The file would not open with the
..pps suffix. However if I named the file with the file name followed by
a space and no suffix my friend could open the file while it was
attached to the e-mail, but could not open it on his hard drive. He
opend the file with PowerPoint Viewer. Has anyone had a similar
experience? If so, what did you do to resolve it?
