Mac Appleworks to Access

I am transferring all my Mac files to my PC. I need to
transfer a database to Access but can only save as
Appleworks or Clarisworks. Any idea how I can do this?

Hi Tasha,

You need to save the data as text files (CSV or tab delimited), and then
convert these from Mac to Windows format before importing them into
Access.

I think the Mac to Windows conversion will happen automatically if you
open the files in Word (on the Windows machine) and then do Save As to
save as plain text. Otherwise, there are lots of little utility programs
that can do the conversion, downloadable from places like www.tucows.com
