Mac, BlackBerry & Entourage sync issues

John

I have a BB Curve 8330. Everytime I create an appointment on my BB and
sync it with my SL Mac (10.6.3) the time gets bumped up 4 hours. For
example I had a dentist appointment yesterday at 8:45am and when I
synced with my Mac the appointment in the Calendar got bumped up to
12:45pm. I am not sure of the culprit if its the Mac, the BB, or
Microsoft Entourage 2004 so I am posting this on the crackberry web
forums, and also on some Macintosh and MS Entourage Newsgroups.

Thanks for your help.

I used to do that with a blackberry and the Missing Sync application.
First thought is what time is the synch program using? GMT? Are they
both set for your local time zone?

Secondly, shat do you use to sync? I had great luck with the Missing
Sync; not so happy with the Blackberry or Mac sync applications.

Good luck.

It is possible to change the time/date on your MAC simply by clicking the Apple symbol > System Preferences > Time and date . check to see if you are set to your timezone.

Are you using Mobile me to sync Entourage with your BB?

I would suggest upgrading to Entourage 2008. You are using Snow Leopard and it works a lot smoother then 2004 version.

Note that after changing the system time settings, you need to restart
Entourage to get it to take notice of the new settings.
