Dear Mac Excel users,
Here is my gift to all of you – “Mac Excel Expander 4â€, for Excel 2004 and
Excel X.
78 automation utilities and 113 new worksheet formulas, integrate seamlessly
into Excel. Full documentation in Word (more than 160 pages), on-line help
and tutorial files.
It’s a FREEWARE. Probably the biggest freeware ever published for Microsoft
Excel.
The software is available from:
http://www.vonixx.com
This freeware is in fact a major upgrade to my “Edwin’s Power Toolsâ€. The
latest PC version is called “Excel Power Expander 4â€, which is very well
received since it’s release in Nov 2004. (Just been mentioned in May 2005
issue PCWorld.)
Besides delivering the functionality, I want to use the software as a live
demonstration of cross-platform Excel VBA development. Windows users always
have a wrong perception that the Mac is not good for serious Excel
development work. Now, I made all the 78 automation tools and 113 worksheet
formulas identically across the two platforms.
Mac Excel the product needs our support, the MS Mac Business Unit needs our
support. With strong support from users and developers, the world will see
more and more powerful Excel (and Office) made for the Mac platform in the
future.
Enjoy Mac Excel Expander, and enjoy crunching data with Mac Excel!!
Regards,
Edwin Tam
