I am looking for a check book templet?
Hi David,
Excel has been around a long time, and with hundreds of thousands of
users you can bet there are plenty of templates from which to choose.
A quick search of Google turned up more than 80,000 matches to "Excel
checkbook download." Needless to say I have not tried them all so I
can't tell you which one is best.

You can use the templates from Microsoft OnLine web site. There's a
checkbook register on this page:

Some tips about using the Microsoft site. These are not necessarily the
only way, but it works for me. I use the web browser SeaMonkey, a
browser which the site does not complain about.
When you do the download a file with an extension of .cab is delivered.
Drag the cab file to the Stuffit Expander icon (you do have Expander,
right?). Expander will make the cab file into a folder that contains a
file that has an extension of .xlt (which is Excel Template).
If you double-click the file you may have to choose Excel as the
application to open the file if you have not already told Finder to
Excel for files with .xlt extensions.
