Currently I have Windows XP and running Office 2004, but should receive a new MAC within a couple of days. I'd like to purchase Microsoft Office for Students; however, in reading reviews, all I see is negative regarding Office 2008. I've seen a little better review with Office 2007. Can anyone say something good about Office 2008? Also, I was wondering if they have a Microsoft Money for Mac. That's what I'm currently using with XP. thanks for any insight.

Any answer would largely depend on your needs: if all you need is a tool to
write reports, then Office 2008 will be more than enough. If, however, you
rely on very advanced features, such as VBA macro support or Microsoft
Exchange compatibility, you will be very disappointed with Office 2008, the
Home & Student version in particular. You will need to tell us about how
you're going to use Office, then we'll be able to give you a more detailed
explanation. For what it's worth, Office 2008 is largely sufficient for my
own needs.

And no, there's no Microsoft Money for Mac; however, if you want to keep
using it on your Mac, you can either find similar native applications or
simply install Windows XP on your Mac and keep using Money under Windows.
