Mac Office Standard need to upgrade to Office 2004 for new G5

I bought Microsoft Office for Mac in 7-20-95 and got new G%
and want to upgrade if possible. The problem I have is the
Old 10995 version of Microsoft Office version 4.21 is all
on disk. I need to update with CD or DVD. any help. Do I
have to rebuy the complete packaging all over? I hope
not!!!I would like to purchase just the upgrade. How do I
get the old version on cd? Thank you for any kind of help.

If you want to keep using Office 4.2.1, you'll have to either transfer
the installation from your old computer (you should be able to network
them, and transfer files, I'd imagine), or obtain an external floppy
reader.

Office 4.2.1 *may* be able to work in OS X's classic mode, though it's
not officially supported:

The Upgrade versions available from MS are for upgrades from Office 98
or later.
How do I get the old version on cd?

As far as I know, you can't.

One possibility you might consider:

Since you can upgrade to Office 2004 from Office 98, you may be able to
find a cheap copy of Office 98 on eBay, at a user group, etc. (check
your local Apple store - they may know of someone who's selling their
machine along with software). You can then get the Upgrade version of
Office 2004 at the reduced price.
