mac office to pc

I have a macbook pro and am looking into getting office for mac but I
was needing to know if you can take a flash card and transfer data
from a mac to a pc within the office program?

What data?

Document files (e.g., .xls, .doc, .ppt) will transfer flawlessly, as
will templates and add-ins.

Obviously, whether macros/add-ins run depends on them containing
Mac-compatible code (e.g., no VBA6, no ActiveX).

Preferences generally won't travel, and you're best off using the
Organizer to transfer items from a Normal.dot to the Mac Normal template.

I'm not up on the different types of data....I guess text like a
letter or something like that. You are really talking over my head
with all that stuff above. OK don't laugh too hard!
