MAC OS X 10.2.6 and Outlook 2001

I have a Imac that has a problem with opening emails.
When you click on the email you want to view it
unexpectedly quits. I restarted in OS 9.2.2 and it work
just fine. I can preview the email in OS X and print
it . They just can not double click to open the email. I
do not have a clue.
