I've just reinstalled 3 times - no joy. I have Office Mac on my laptop
and just installed it on my new desktop (used to have OS 9.2 and the
earlier version of Office) If I try to open a doc on the desktop which
was created on the laptop it crashes Word - "Word has quit
unexpectedly". The desktop will cope with other word docs from other
sources - and the same files from the laptop sent to other people (on
Windows machines) are fine.
doesn't matter how I transfer them, pen drive, e-mail, idisk, they still
crash Word completely - occasionally it opens the file but with chunks
missing - but 9/10 times it crashes.
