I am helping a user who had two profiles set up for
Outlook express 5.5 for the Mac (OS 9.2). The main profile
somehow became corrupt (when clicking the main profile on
the start screen, a warning message about that it was
terminated because it unexpectedly came to the end of
a "line"). We tried to open the profile settings from the
user folder, or any of the settings, but it just opened a
blank email composing window. We tried to create a new
profile and load the address book, but couldn't find it in
the user folder. Is there a way to (a) check the profile
to see what went wrong (b) load the address book into a
new profile (and messages, if possible).
Any hints? Thanks so much for any help.
