Mac Powerpoint 2011 Presenter Notes View shifts down automatically

Hello:

I recently upgraded to Mac OS Sierra.

When I opened Powerpoint 2011, it looked fine...

Until I went into Presenter mode.

Now, the slide automatically jump down one line.

I have to click and drag the sidebar up every time.

Please explain why this is happening and how I can fix it.
