Many times I have take a section of an Excel worksheet - (sub-selection of
the spreadsheet), copied it and paste special picture into a power point
slide. When I take the file to work and open it on a PC and Windows XP Power
point it works.
If I do the same with a CHART, I just get a red X. I have tried Microsoft
drawing object, also and this too fails.
I do not want to paste the Excel object directly as this creates excess
overhead by imbedding the Excel information. I only need the image.
To get the translation to work properly, I have to take the chart picture
and cut/paste special as png, jpeg or gif format.
And I thought that the two platforms were supposed to be compatible.
