mac ppt picture won't open in windows ppt. Needs tiff lzw decompr

I get a message saying "Quicktime and a tiff (LZW) decompressor are needed to
view this image" on one of the ppt slides sent to me by a colleague with a
Macintosh computer. I have Quicktime installed, but the message still
appears. Any ideas/ solutions?
