Mac Quicken. Merger occured, new companys stock & cash given. How to record?

I'm using Quicken 2003 for the Mac.

I had a merger of a company. all shares sold

I received:

Cash for new company B and stock for company B
Cash for new company C and stock for company C

I'm trying to figure out how to record. the Quicken Help is of now use.
