MAC to PC compatibility

I have an iMac running OS X v10.4.7 with one Gb of RAM at home but
unfortunately I work on PCs in the office. I¹m using Office 2004 at home
and Office 2003 on an XP box at work. I¹ve recently been downloading
presentations off an intranet to work on at home and though the
presentations appear to open fine on the Mac, once I repost them to the
intranet, email them to my account, or transfer them via memory stick, I
can¹t seem to open them on any of the PCs at work?!?!?!? I¹ve tried to open
them by double clicking on the file and navigating to the file via the
³open² command. I can bring the files back to my Mac and they open fine but
I can never get them to open on the PC. Does anyone have any ideas
regarding what is corrupting the files and preventing them from being used
in the PC environment? Thanks.

First thing you want to is verify that you're up to date with service packs, at
least through SP1, on your Office 2003 at work.

Choose Help, About to verify the SP level. Choose Help, Check for Updates to
let MS check for you and recommend updates. There are known problems with
Office 2003 as originally released that can cause the sort of thing you're
seeing.
