Mac to PC: Lost headers and footers

After setting up a EXCEL woeksheet, with headers and footers, I save
and send via email OR memory stick to partner using PC. He opens the
worksheet and headers and footers are gone. This does not happen all
the time but does happen most of the time. also, print formatting has
changed.
Anyone have thius kind of problem and know an answer?

Make sure you are using fonts that exist on both platforms. Make sure the PC
user has the latest print driver installed, and that the print resolution is
not set to Draft.

Have any of the suggestions helped resolve your problem? If not, will you
