Mac users unable to view calendar events created in outlook (& viceversa)

I have a client with a mixed mac/pc office running an offsite MS Exchange
server who have run into a particular issue with their shared calendar: any
events created using Entourage 2008 are not visible in Outlook 2009. The
same is true for events created using Outlook 2009 - they don't appear in
the shared calendar in Entourage.

Events created in Entourage are visible to other Entourage users & those
created in Outlook are visible to other Outlook users. But cross-platform :
nothing.

The shared calendar is an un-used mailbox whose calendar is shared out to
all users.

Any suggestions?

Are they all visible on OWA??
