Mac Word 98 Q

T

Tom O'Brien

Some years ago I created some simple art involving animals and inserted it into a Mac Word document. (Maybe it was Word 6 in those days.) I don't know what was used to create the art

Using my Word program, most recently Mac Word 98, I have had no trouble accessing the text with its art (as recently as three months ago).

Recently I had need to access the text with its art using Word 98 again. ALL the art in the file has vanished. What I see on the screen is an empty rectangle. It's as though the application that created the art is needed to view the art in the MS Word file (something no techy I know has ever heard of), the helping file has timed out, and the art has vanished

I am talking about art in a Word file a) in my iMac's hard drive, b) on a variety of archival cds, c) on a variety of old Macs I have in the house!!! All the animal art has vanished. All other art is OK

Any explanation of this? Help??

Any way I can access the art

TIA for your help

Anything I can do to access the art

TIA for your help.
