Mac Word, Endnote, Eudora problem

Bill

Hi , I have a very odd problem. I am Mac OS 10.3, Word
with most recent office update 10.1.5, Eudora 6.1 and
Endnote 6.0.2

When I switch applications and open up Eudora, then try
to go back to Word, the application menu shows up and is
active but I cannot see any windows. If I select the
document I had open from the Windows menu it doesn't
appear, If I select About Word, the windows doesn't
appear but everything is grayed out. I have to use Force
Quit to quit. It seems to be a problem only when I have
Word, Endnote and Eudora open. They are all updated to
the most recent verison. Any hints?

Thanks
Bill

The Endnote add-in creates a lot of conflicts, but haven't heard of one
involving Eudora before.

See if the same thing happens when you don't have the Endnote add-in
installed. Quit Word and remove the two EN templates from your Startup
folder (Apps/Office X/Office/Startup). Then open all three programs.

Let us know.

Hi Bill:

Let me take a wild guess here:

Remove the Endnote Cite While You Write add-in completely and the problem
won't happen!

To do this, you need to quit Word and remove the Endnote plugin from your
Startup Folder.

I do NOT know why Endnote would leave this bug out there for two years
without a fix, but they have...

Hope this helps
