Macro Cannot Be Found or Has Been Disabled Error

JoAnn

I am running W2000 on an XP system. Macro security is set to Medium. The
macros are in a template that I attach.

Suddenly, I can't run macros that I have been running successfully for
years. I get the enable macros message that lets me enable them but when I
try to run them, they don't work.

Furthermore, when I try the same thing on my laptop, some macros (simple
ones) work but the more complicated one (a user form that updates bookmarks
in the document) generates the error.

I've tried reloading Word but it didn't help. Any idea what would make it
suddenly stop working?

Thanks, JoAnn

JoAnn:

I have no idea what might be causing your problem, but I'd suggest you open
the VBE (Alt+F11) and verify that the macros are, indeed, where you expect
them to be.

Then try running them from within the VBE. Perhaps your shortcuts got
"disconnected" from the macros somehow.
