macro & code protection

hello all,

I'm just converting a front-end database from AccessXP to Access2003.
I deploy this database to users in *.mde format. The clients works with
Access runtime license.

When the application starts ask about the securety of macro and code, the
user
need to confirm the opening of the program.
On the develop platform the program don't ask me nothing because the
protection
is set to low.
How can do it the same on the client pc ?

Thanks
Lorenzo

Get the client to set macro security to Low on his/her PC (if he/she
agrees). The option is in the Tools menu somewhere. If it's not there, you
can get it back via the Customize menu.

Well, but when the client have Access2003 runtime and the
running application (.mde) is closed no option, menu are available.
I know that the package-wizard to destribute can change the
registry value, but where ?

Ah, I see what you mean.

See if this helps: <[email protected]>

Note: that is a google message ID. Go to groups.google.com, advanced groups
search, & copy that whole string (including the <..>'s) into the Message ID
field.
