I'm a novice Access programmer and use Access mainly to merge data files for
reports. I'm migrating my databases from Access 2003 to 2007 and have run
into a problem. Mainly I'm missing macro actions for transfertext,
transferspreadsheet, etc. Is it becuase the DB is not "trusted"? How can I
get these macro actions to show up?
Secondly, My specifications are having trouble too. In Access 2003 I could
use the data type in a specification when importing into an existing table.
Now It seems I can only use data type if I'm importing into a new table.
This bad as I need the data type so I can import oddly formatted dates
<yyyymmdd> into an existing table. Is there any way around this?
