Macro enabled Hyperlinks in a protected document

Whilst setting Macro enabled Hyperlinks in a protected document the first MacroButton command works, however for subsequent Hyperlinks the link itself disapears upon completion of the Macro field insert (after completion of the Macro Field I press Alt+F9 and the link has disapeared
Any help greatfully appreciated
