macro for deleting a message when a related message is recieved.

I am using jira to monitor issues in a project. jira generates an e-mail when
an issue is raised and subsequently generates an e-mail message when the
issue is closed. the issue reference number is the same. I have managed to
automatically post the issues when raised to an outstanding folder and closed
issues to a resolved folder. I would like a macro that recognises an issue
number and a status of resolved to delete the original message that was sent
when the issue was raised.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
