Macro for Printer settings to be used in template

I would like to create a macro that will run on Open of a
template to change printer settings (ie., change paper
source and media). I recorded a macro using keyboard
strokes to change paper source and media. When I view the
macro in VBA, there's no code and the macro doesn't run.

I'm clueless of how to proceed.
