"macro not found" error with Excel 2008 on macbook and 10.5.2

Hi all,

A user of a spreadsheet I created three years ago just ran into an issue
when they installed Excel 2008 (they had no issue when using the file with
the prior version of Excel they had) -- they are using a macbook and 10.5.2
(I have a PC so honestly I'm not sure what the 10.5.2 means).

The spreadsheet contains macros that are attached to buttons from the
"Forms" menu -- specifically, the error below comes up when they click on
"Button 9" which is on the "Intermod Calculator" sheet -- the macro in the
error below is in Module 3 of the VBAProject:

Error:
intermod_calculator_v.12xls!Testfreq macro not found

Any help is appreciated!

Hi,

Excel 2008 does not support macros at all. Excel 2004 did support
macros. OpenOffice 2.4 has limited macro support.

If you need macros I recommend that you stick with Excel 2004.

Hi Jim,
I've found a few problems with Office 2008 loading over previous versions. Most solved by installing saved files after installing 2008. If you didn't remove and save them before.. you are snookered!.
