Macro Output to OE6 Change 'From' Field

Hello, This macro works well. It formats/parses a document and merge exports
it as and Outlook Express 6 email ( *.eml )

The only problem is that no matter what is in the very first line, which is
the 'From' field, the finished email always reverts to the default email
account in the 'From' field.

So the first line reads:
From: "John Doe" <[email protected]>
But since the default account in OE6 is otherdomain.com , the From field
reads:

From: "John B. Doe" <[email protected]>

Any way to force text into that From field? Thank you.

As far as I know there is no way to automate anything in OE so I suspect you
are stuck with what you have.

Thanks, Tony. But rather than automate OE, I was hoping to understand what OE
was looking for. IOW, regardless of what data you put in the field, you can't
seem to force it out of putting the default ReplyTo address there.

As far as I understand it, OE isn't looking for anything. When I said that
OE can't be automated, part of what that means is that it won't look for
anything, or respond to anything. As you have found, no matter what you do,
it will use its default.
