Macro Problem

I did created a excel file with macro in Office 97 on PC. I am using
network user login from 10.3 Server and running 10.3 and Office X.
When I open the excel file, it give me an error on the Visual Basic.
It cannot find Library or something and cannot debug and start the
excel file. I can fix it by delete the microsoft preference files from
the ~/Library/Preferences but when I quit Excel and start it up again.
It gives me the error message again. I can do that with local user
login but not network user login. Is it permission problem?

Thanks
Derek

It's hard to tell without knowing what the error message is...

Does the macro make a registry entry?

I have experienced a similar problem with my local user. Our mac users
are network users and their user files are on the network, not on the
local machine. I do not have this problem logged in as admin...I
installed all software logged in as admin.

The error is prior to the gallery
Microsoft Visual Basic
Class not registered.
Looking for object with CLSID: {AC9F290-E877-IICE...etc...}

Assistance via email and posting here would be appreciated.
