Sorry if this is the wrong place, but I'm looking for help with macros
and coding in an Access Db.
My problem is that an user has been forced to upgrade to Windows Vista
and Office 2007 and an old DB of theirs has stopped working, and I've
been asked to check it out. The problems seem to come from macros and
coding that don't actually show/save actual fields in the Db, but are
more for display purposes and aids for the user. I have several
controls which use Dlookup functions to display values and these are
just sitting here doing nothing - no error message, nothings, and some
macros that use various actions and if I try to amend them, by say
adding in a line to try to use Setvalue - this actions doesn't appear
to be valid, despite it being used in the db in other places that seem
to work fine. Additional info is that the problems only occur on Vista/
Office 2007 PCs and not XP/Office 2007, so is my problem Access or
Vista or both?
I haven't done coding in Access since 98 so I'm lost. any help would
be appreciated. Thanks.
