Macro saved in Xlam format, a permenant button on my commandbar??

I saved a workbook as *.xlam file it contained a module with an additional
button for my command bar, I expected this to then appear in the add-in menu,
it has not and now I am stuck with this stupid button on my command bar. I
unfortunately deleted the file and have no idea how to remove this add in
from excel 2007?
