Macro Security Settings Disabled 2007 - Bug?

Is this a bug with trusted locations and VBA File System Object disabling
Macro Security Settings in Word 2007 and I presume Excel also.

I'm trying to change the location of my trusted Workgroup and have a
subfolder and I cannot do it - my VBA/XML says no templates found if I try
to go more than one folder deep with a trusted location. Or I receive Macro
Security Settings Disabled.

Anyone else having this problem with dynamic menus?

Go to Office button > Word Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Options >
Trusted Locations. Select the path you're working with and click the Modify
button. In the dialog, there's a check box for "Subfolders of this location are
also trusted". If that isn't checked, then... they aren't trusted.

I haven't tried what you're doing, so I'm not sure whether "not trusted" causes
"no templates found" but it certainly should prevent macros in the subfolder
from running.

If you're trying to set up something in the Workgroups for other users, be aware
that this setting will have to be changed manually on every profile on each
computer. There is no programmatic way to change it, by design.

I have no idea what you mean by "dynamic menus" or what it has to do with
trusted locations.

It is subfolders trusted locations it does not trust them even if they are
trusted - but thanks.
