Macro Text on Command Button gone in email

I have put a command button on a template and have hidden in a text box, as
per http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFldsFms/HidePrintButton.htm.

I replaced the macro text from the above link with the text from a specific
macro I created (prints 3 copies of the document, with different footnote
titles.)

It works great and I have created this button specifically for a
self-proclaimed computer illerate in an office hundreds of miles away.

The problem: when I email the document, the macro text for the command
button is gone! Even when I email it to myself, it's gone.

What do I need to do to link that text to the button/document?

Thanks for any help.

First, I would probably use a macrobutton field instead of a command button.
That said, though, make sure either way that your macro is stored in your
template rather than in normal.dot. Then send the template, not a document
based on the template.

Thank you SO MUCH for all your help and the great websites. I didn't even
know about macrobutton fields until you told me and gave me the great links.

I'm deciding to bite the bullet and create the form in Excel. My form in
Word had an embedded Excel spreadsheet, as I needed the formulas. I created
in Word as I was trying to recreate a preprinted form and it was easier to
measure in inches in Word. When will Microsoft allow measurements in inches,
not just points & pixels? What a pain.

Thank you again. You saved my sanity when I was trying to do something I
thought was simple (it is in Excel, but does not have same ease in Word.)
