Is there some way to delete all the Heading Styles from a word document? When
you import the text into a Word Processing program like QuarkXPress, all
these Heading Styles come in. Is there a macro to remove them from the text
as part of a final save before it gets imported into the desktop publishing
software?

I don't care if they are in the style list--I just do not want them saved
with the document.

Does anyone have a solution for this? I saw the macro that eliminated built
in styles, but I really only want to remove the information from the document.

thanks

No, you can't delete the built-in heading styles in Word. Have you
considered asking in a QuarkXPress newsgroup (assuming there is one)
if there is a way to choose which styles to import?
