macro to delete the first return mark on a page

Merv

Hi,

I have created a macro to force a page break on every page, however this
then places one or two returns at the top of every page. My problem is that
due to the necessity for line numbering text does not start until line 2 or
sometime three. Is there a way of finding return marks at the start of a
page, and possibly a second mark, and deleting them?

Thanks in advance

If you are separating all your pages with hard page breaks you can do a
find/replace for hard page followed by one or more paragraph marks ..

Select Edit > Replace from the Menu
In Find what , enter ^m^13{1,} - that's caret, m, caret, one, three, left
brace, one, comma, right brace
In Replace with, enter ^m - that's caret, m
Check Use Wildcards
Hit Replace All
