macro to edit a field in many records

I am trying to do something that should be quite simple but
has me tearing my hair out. I am trying to change the text
entry in one field of a table from "N/A" to a different
string. The N/A appears about 100 times so doing it
manually is not too appealing.

I've tried to write a macro to do this but don't see how to
do it. The few things I've tried won't even run. Can
anyone help?

Why not use an Update query.

Thanks, Jim. I simply forgot that you could do that. It
hit me right about the time that you replied so I solved my
problem.
