Macro to edit VBA code

I perform (by hand) a certain standard 15 step routine on my VBA code to make
the coding that runs in Word2003 workable in Word98. Is there anyway to create
a macro that runs directly on the VBA coding so that the manual steps I take to
edit the code can be automated?

Whether automation makes sense depends on how often you have
to perform the same operation.
