macro to format picture

I'm trying to write a macro to format a picture--size, border, horizontal
position. But when I'm recording the macro and I change the size of the
picture, nothing happens.

I went to format>picture via the menu and used the tab key to get to the
size box and then typed in the size I wanted. I also tried right clicking to
get the format picture dialog box.

I have no problem changing the size when I'm not recording.

Am I missing something, or is this one of those things that Word just won't
do? I'm using Word 2003.

I think the problem is that I need to use the keyboard to select the picture,
but I can't figure out how to do that, since the picture is in a table. I
made the first step in the macro "paste" because something is selected when
it's just been pasted but that didn't work.
