Folks,
I'm needing to create a Macro to Import a table which requires ODBC
Creating manual links or importing works fine.
The TransferData command looks like the one to use when creating the macro,
however.....
Where I identifiy the location of the table (when creating the macro).....
the Help section mentions that, if ODBC is used, the Connection String needs
to also be included. I've got the connection string from viewing the
properties of a similar LINKED table.
But.....I'm not sure what SYNTAX to use in this field when creating the macro.
How is the PATH info and Connection String combined into 1 line?
Also....the imported table needs to have a Different Name than that of the
source table. When Access imports a table, it is automatically given the
name of the source table.
Is it possible to also specifiy what the imported table is to be named in the
Macro?
Any help with these "path+connection string syntax" and the "naming of the
table issues" greatly appreciated.
Thanks very much
