When you start in Safe Mode, are all the macros listed in Tools, Macros in
normal operation then missing? Try accessing the macros from the Macro
Editor (Alt+F11). What is shown in Word, Startup Folder (for location, see
Tools, Options, File Locations)? All check in Tools, Templates and Add-ins
to see what is listed. One of these locations may point to the culprit.
