Is there a way that i can put a micro in to open the
search fiture in Windows. I have over 6000 items in
execl. But if i want to look at an actual docement, i
have to open the search thing, go to te correct drive and
than search by invoices number.

My qustion is how can i put in a hyperlink to open the
window and go to the correct folder (which is always the
same?)

Please help

Is this an Excel question? Is this question written in English?
Do you have a proper subject that describes the question?
Do you have a spelling checker, and do you know that the word i
is supposed to be capitalized? What the heck is the "search thing"?

Not too surprising that you didn't get an answer after almost a full day.

If you want to invoke the Windows search limited to a specific path
you might take a look at (macros and Excel , and Excel hyperlinks are not involved)
Set up a Search shortcut in your Start Menu for a search of your hard drive (#fnd)
http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/search.htm#fnd

If that is what you are looking for to do a search, you can change the
shortcut to a hyperlink in Excel. Check the properties to find the link.
It will only identify the workbook not the worksheet.
