Macro

I am running Office 2002 Pro.
Is it possible to add a button to my toolbar that will
run a particular macro?
I know how to do it in Excel, but can't seem to do it in
WORD.

Hello Aussie Sharon

First make sure that you have a toolbar showing (I don't myself).

Then from the menu select Tools | Macro | Record new macro.

Give it a name, and click on the Tool icon under Assign macro to.

A dialogue box will pop up and in the Commands pane there will be an icon
with a name something like Normal.Newmacros.YourMacroName. Drag this icon
onto the toolbar, and Close the dialogue box.

You can then record a macro. If you already have code, just do a minimum
action and then edit the macro produced and pop your code into it.
