Macros and printing

Help! I can create Macros and even edit them in MS 2000,
but am having a problem. Several of the offices in our
department have printers with multiple trays and want to
be able to keep letterhead in one, and plain paper in the
other, and print from whichever they want. I thought
macros would be a good way to accomplish this without
having to go in and change printer properties for each
individual page or document, but trying to set up one for
each tray isn't working. How can I do this so that
printing from any of the trays is a one button click
process for these people?

Hi, Bethae3:

See if this helps:

In Word 2000 I recorded a macro and assigned it to one of the toolbars. The
macro changes the first page of the document to print on letterhead. The
macro does these steps: "File | Page Setup | Paper Source" and then selects
the proper tray for letterhead the first page of the document. I named the
macro and button to "letterhead first page", so with one click I can change
the properties of the file.

Is that what you're after?
