macros are disabled?

I've written a Word 2000 macro in my document. However whenever I open the
document the macro can't run because of the security in place. Yet I have
written macros in other documents that are allowed to run on the same PC
with the same security settings. The other macros I wrote were done prior
to us upgrading to Windows 2000. Acrobat PDFmaker is another macro that
works fine. What is different here? I want to deploy this company wide but
can't determine what's wrong.

I found my answer. If a template with macros is placed in ...\word\startup\
folder it is loaded at startup and its macros are available even with the
highest security setting.
